About the Journal
Aims & Scope
The International Journal of Culture, Governance and Development (IJCGD) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Centre for Creative Economy and Cultural Studies (CCECS) at Akwa Ibom State University, Nigeria.
IJCGD seeks to advance interdisciplinary scholarship that critically examines the intersections of culture, public governance, policy, and sustainable development in local, national, regional, and global contexts — with particular focus on the fields of Arts, Social Sciences, Administration, and Management Sciences.
The journal provides a scholarly platform for rigorous theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented research that deepens understanding of how cultural systems, governance structures, and development processes shape societies.
